About
Jeff Litchfield is a visual artist living in El Paso, Texas. Growing up in New Mexico and West Texas, he wanted nothing to do with the desert. After a year painting in Rome and seventeen years in New York's art world (showing at White Columns, Paula Cooper and 303 Gallery, and installing shows at Barbara Gladstone and Paula Cooper). Post 9/11, he came back to the border and found the desert was fertile ground after all. He has come full circle.
Every work is named by its inventory number: a catalogue code set against the hand-drawn world. Each design here is one of his pen-and-ink drawings, printed on demand.
